Bucheon's residency program welcomes two writers, translators, cartoonists, graphic novel artists, or newcomers regardless of their creative field who are interested in Korean culture.

Granada, Spain
The University of Granada arranges and covers the costs of accommodation for two writers within its hall of residence. Writers are provided opportunities to participate in the city's literary life, contacts with local writers, involvement in workshops, teaching activities, etc.

Kraków, Poland
The Kraków Residency Program features month stays that are especially dedicated to young and upcoming talents. Residents will stay in the guest rooms of the Villa Decius Culture Institute and receive a creative scholarship, as well as reimbursement of travel costs to and from Krakow.

Ljubljana, Slovenia
Ljubljana offers two residency opportunities for writers at the Swisshouse Creative Centre that provide a fully equipped apartment with a kitchenette, along with other artists-residents, artists, and exhibitions. Ljubljana also offers a grant and coverage of local public transportation costs.

Milan, Italy
Milan announced the first Residency Program planned for 2020 and designed for operators in the book industry: one publisher, one bookseller, and one librarian.

Prague, Czech Republic
Since 2015, Prague has offered a residency stay for foreign writers and translators that offers reimbursement for a return ticket, free accommodation, and a monthly stipend.

Reykjavik, Iceland
Reykjavík offers a one month residency for a visiting writer and the 2020 residency is for published children's fiction writers who are writing in any genre.

Tartu, Estonia
Tartu City of Literature Office offers an International Residency Program for writers and translators. There are two residency periods, each lasting two months (April-May and October-November). One applicant will be selected for each residency period.

Ulyanovsk, Russia
This residency is open to writers, poets, translators, playwrights, screenwriters, illustrators, film directors, visualization artist, and photographers implementing literary projects within any of the UNESCO Cities of Literature. The chosen residents are offered : one-month accommodation in the city center of Ulyanovsk; a scholarship; cover of expenses on accommodations and participation in public events; and the opportunity to engage with the cultural scene of Ulyanovsk.
